As part of their collaboration the School of
Education (SOA) at the State University of Zanzibar (SUZA) and OER Africa a
staff continuing professional development (CPD) workshop has been planned for
the 12th and 13th of November. The focus of the training
is, Assessment – available technologies and the impact of Artificial intelligence
(AI).
On completion of the workshop participants will be able to…
- Differentiate between different uses of technology to support diagnostic, formative, and summative assessment.
- Develop ‘quizzes’ on the Moodle learning management system.
- Develop formative tests using third party apps.
- Formulate summative assessment questions and activities that mitigate/incorporate student use of AI and other technologies.
